Women's teams

Don Quishoot has eleven women's teams, each with its own identity. Are you curious about our women's teams? They are all listed below!

Heyyy, we are Don Quishoot Ladies 1, and since the founding of our amazing club we have been the women’s selection team. This season we are playing in the 3rd division and we are highly motivated to get promoted to the 2nd division. To achieve our shared goal, we train twice a week under the guidance of our enthusiastic trainer and coach Yash. You can find us on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM on the water field. After training, there are always some girls who stick around to shower at the SSC and then grab a drink together, often with some fried snacks.

Sunday equals matchday. Every weekend at 12:45 PM we step onto the field full of confidence and do everything we can to secure those three points. But our Sunday is only truly complete when we head to team Sunday together, enjoy dinner with the rest of the club, and hit the dance floor.

Besides hockey, we also organize various activities such as team nights, an annual date dinner and team weekend, and drinks with other DQS teams. As you can tell, we spend a lot of time together, which makes us a close-knit team.

We are the Goaldiggers! Maybe a bit of a funny name for a team that calls itself a MANNUH team, but we definitely love scoring goals! As a team, we get a lot of joy from playing hockey with intensity, which we do on Mondays (5:30 PM–7:00 PM) and Wednesdays (7:00 PM–8:30 PM). We are coached by our lovely trainers from the Joepies, who are there for us come rain or shine. Every Goaldigger looks forward to Sunday, the day we finally get to play hockey again! We currently play in the Reserve First Class and always aim for the championship.

A true Goaldigger holds her own on the field, always goes for GOLD, checks the weekly email right away for the latest memes, finds our Instagram really funny, grabs a beer before 12:00 as a Goldengirl, and goes for fun both on and off the field!

We are Ladies 3, the Hotshots. Competing in the Reserve First Class, we aim to bring the heat every match. We are a team that trains intensively twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM. These sessions are made possible in part by our amazing coaches from H1 and H2. After training, we always sit down for a drink at the SSC, and on Thursdays we often head into the city together for a fun night out.

Off the field, we are just as enthusiastic. We see each other a lot during drinks, tournaments, festivals, and all kinds of team activities. Every year we of course go on a team weekend and organize a date dinner. On team Sundays, after our own match, we always stay with a big group of girls to cheer on the other teams from the sidelines with a beer in hand.

Within Don Quishoot itself, we are also very active. Many of our players are part of committees and contribute to the club in that way. Hi, the Assepushters here! We are an active girls’ hockey team and we love playing hockey as much as we love socializing over drinks. To prepare for Sundays, we train every Wednesday from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Two years ago, we were promoted to the second division, and over the past year we’ve proven ourselves there once again!

Besides playing hockey together, we also like to let loose at our regular pub, La Route, when the clock strikes 12 (or later…). We often have drinks with other teams or groups within Eindhoven and also organize an annual team weekend, a date dinner, and many other fun activities. You can also often find us at various student festivals, where we’re not shy about stirring things up with our funnel.

Besides sports and partying, we also regularly meet up to eat or study together.

Meet the Scorepies! We are the Scorepioenen, the 5th women's team of Don Quishoot. We play reserve 2nd division and combine fanatical hockey with many fun activities. We train once a week, on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m., which gives us enough time to catch up afterwards and end the evening at "stratum's eind" On Sundays we like to enjoy the sun along the line after our own match. But we also see each other a lot outside of hockey! With drinks, festivals, date dinners, an outing on the beer bike, a team weekend or a nice evening on the couch, even going on holiday together and celebrating Sinterklaas are part of it. It's all nice and non-binding, but above all it's great fun to be a part of it. So this sounds like your thing, and if you also want to shine in our beautiful pink color, then come and train with us!

We are the Fantasticks! A nice chaotic, fun women's team consisting of a diverse group of girls. We train fanatically every Monday from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. We now play third reserve class and managed to get third place last year, so next year we will go for the championship!

In addition to training and playing matches, we are also an active team off the field. On Thursdays we end with a dance at "stratum's eind", we like to have drinks with other teams, fraternities, etc., we attend hockey parties and we do adtjes Arnold (our mascot, a pink flamingo) on team Sundays. We also go on a team weekend once a year, we do activities to de-stress during the exam weeks, and we meet at the university to have lunch together and catch up. Ladies 7 - ESHG Ladies

We are ESHG ladies. A team founded from the Eindhoven Student Corps. We train on Wednesdays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.



Hey! We are ladies 8, the Trouble Shooters! We are a fanatical team that plays hockey in the reserve 3rd class. We train every Wednesday from 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM. Off the field we are at least as fanatical as on the field! Every Wednesday after training we can be found in our favorite pub La Route and on Sundays we eat at the pavilion. We also have drinks with other hockey teams and fraternities, we go to tournaments such as CDT and AIPHT and we organize an annual date dinner and a team weekend. We are the Matchmakers, ladies 9 of ESHV Don Quishoot.

We currently play in the 3rd division and train once a week: every Tuesday from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

In addition to hockey, we also enjoy experiencing the third half! As a result, we can regularly be found in the pavilion on Sundays after the match. Outside of Sundays at the club, we sometimes have drinks with others, such as hockey tournaments, student parties or evenings with activities that end at "stratum's eind".

We are a close-knit team with great friendships. This means that in addition to team activities, we also regularly do smaller things such as a sports class together or cooking together. But the following always applies: nothing is mandatory and everything is allowed!

Hey dear girls, we are Stick d'r in, ladies 10 from Don Quishoot! We play reserve 4th class with our friendly girls. We do this fanatically and we love winning. We train twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and we like to enjoy a drink afterwards. We sometimes do this quietly, but on Thursdays we can often be found at stratum after training.

In addition to hockey, we like to party and have drinks. We can regularly be found at (student) festivals, for example celebrating New Year's and King's Day together and enjoy having drinks with other teams or fraternities. We also go on a team weekend every year and the date dinner is a highlight of every season. So if you want a lot of fun, but still do your best on the field, let us know!

We are De Hatseflatsers (D11), the brand-new team of Don Quishoot.

Our team is all about fun, team spirit, and of course hockey. Even though we’ve only just started, we’re already a close-knit group of girls who enjoy a good game of hockey and a nice cold beer.

The team is a mix of experienced and beginner players, with positivity and enjoyment at the heart of everything we do. On Sundays, we always give it our all. While winning isn’t always the top priority yet, we love being on the field and often end match days with a cozy drink at the club.

We train every Monday from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, usually followed by some post-training drinks. Off the field, we love spending time together too: drinks, parties, and a night out in Stratum are definitely not to be missed.
