E.S.H.V. Don Quishoot
Don Quishoot is the student hockeyassociation of Eindhoven. Started as a group of students playing indoor hockey, we have since grown into an association with nearly 400 members and our own hockey fields. That’s why we can proudly call ourselves one of the largest student sports associations in Eindhoven!
At Don Quishoot, sport is mixed with social fun. Every Sunday after the matches, we host a teamsunday where each team gets to organize one themed Sunday per year — complete with decorations, DJs, and food for the whole club. It’s a great way to bond not only with your own team, but also to get to know others. And it doesn’t stop there: we also organize tournaments, an annual ski trip, hockey clinics, you name it!
One of the things that makes Don Quishoot truly unique is our teams. Each team has its own identity — something we value and strive for every year. We believe it’s very important that every new member ends up in a team where they feel comfortable and have fun. That’s why teams and new members work together to find the best possible match.
We have two hockey fields: one water field and one semi-water field. Both the fields and our clubhouse are located right on the TU/e campus, in the heart of Eindhoven! At the moment, Don Quishoot has seven men’s teams and eleven women’s teams.
Don Quishoot is a club where both Dutch and international members feel right at home!

At Don Quishoot!
Don Quishoot's open training is the ideal opportunity for new students to get to know our sporty and friendly atmosphere! During this open training, you will have the chance to train with all the teams. All teams will be on the field. You will go around each team in small groups to play hockey briefly. This offers you the opportunity to experience different playing styles as well as different kinds of camaraderie. We understand that it is important to enjoy what you do, which is why we encourage you to be open-minded and explore. If you notice during a particular session that it isn't quite your thing, don't worry! There is no obligation to join a specific team. We also provide delicious food beforehand for a reasonable price. To wrap up the training, we offer you the opportunity to relax with a refreshing beer or soft drink. So, are you ready to take on the new challenge, meet great people, and have a fun time as a student? Then we look forward to welcoming you to our open training. Everyone is welcome! See you then!
